Family First Homecare (FFHC) is urgently hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for night, overnight, and weekend shifts providing one-on-one pediatric home care. These shifts are in high demand and offer consistent scheduling, strong clinical support, and meaningful work with children and families.

As a Registered Nurse with Family First Homecare, you will provide comprehensive, family-centered nursing care while strictly adhering to FFHC policies, State Nurse Practice Acts, and all applicable State and Federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care within your licensed scope of practice
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation within required timelines
- Continuously assess patient status and evaluate the effectiveness of care
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians regarding changes in care plans
- Report all changes in patient condition to the Nurse Supervisor
- Educate patients and caregivers on care needs and treatment plans
- Support FFHC’s mission by mentoring new nurses during patient-specific orientations
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Attend and complete all required trainings and in-services
- Maintain strict patient and family confidentiality
- Demonstrate professional, supportive, and responsive communication at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Primary need: Nights, overnights, and weekends
- Flexible shift lengths: 8, 10, or 12 hours
- Availability may include any day of the week (Sunday–Saturday)
- Care provided exclusively in patients’ homes (not a facility)

Required QualificationsEducation & Licensure
- RN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered RN license in the state of employment or Multi-State Compact License (where applicable)
Experience & Credentials
- New Graduates encouraged to apply (training provided)
- Prior nursing experience preferred but not required
- Valid CPR certification with in-person, instructor-led skills check
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Clear background screening
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (state-specific)
- Clear TB and Hep B screening (state-specific requirements apply)
Florida:
- Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance
Illinois:
- Driver’s license and insurance not required
- Staff are prohibited from driving patients
- Hep B screening completed during onboarding
Pennsylvania:
- Additional background checks: Child Abuse Clearance and FBI fingerprinting
- TB screening: 2-step PPD or 1-step with prior 2-step documentation within one year
Texas:
- N/A
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Excellent interpersonal and caregiver education skills
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and empathy
